Haywood Hospice Care
At Haywood Hospice & Palliative Care, we are more than an organization of hospice professionals – we are proud members of communities across North Carolina. Compassionate, quality service is our mission. And to us, service means getting to know our patients on a personal level.
How We Can Help
Each patient and family we are privileged to serve is unique. Our ongoing mission is to design a specific plan to help you or your loved one live as fully and comfortably as possible in the final stages of life – in the comfort of your own home or place of residence.
Under the direct supervision of your physician, our highly skilled hospice professionals deliver quality, compassionate care. We also include family in the process, offering valuable information, guidance and – most of all – support.

Helping Hands Haywood
OUR VISION
Our vision is to be able to provide necessary emergency shelter, so that all Haywood County residents have a safe place to work on their stability goals.
OUR MISSION
Expand and add valuable programs and provide vital items needed to increase the well-being of our community, especially to those who are disenfranchised, experiencing homelessness, or insecure shelter in Haywood County and western North Carolina.
OUR VALUES
We believe housing, income, or addiction does not define a person or their value to a community. We believe accessibility to mental health programs is key to the healing process.

Presbyterian Disaster Assistance
For over 200 years, Presbyterians have been responding to the call of Jesus Christ, taking the gospel into all the world and bearing witness to Christ’s saving love to the ends of the earth. Today the Holy Spirit is still on the move, calling us to share in what God is doing in the world. As your partner in Christ’s service, the Presbyterian Mission Agency is faithfully working to inspire, equip and connect all Presbyterians to do Christ’s mission, bringing together congregations, worshiping communities, mid councils, mission networks and other parts of the church ecosystem as they nurture and shape disciples and serve Christ in the world.
The Presbyterian Mission Agency is the ministry and mission agency of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Four ministry areas carry out our work: Compassion, Peace & Justice; Racial Equity & Women’s Intercultural Ministries; Theology, Formation & Evangelism; and World Mission. We work together to inspire, equip and connect all Presbyterians for the church’s work.
